One engine · two products
Run a crew of AI agents from one folder.
One shared core does the work: a command tool to direct your agents, ready-made agent roles, and automatic progress reports back to you. It ships two ways — flip the toggle below; that's the whole difference.
caps ls · two modes
Two modes, same engine
Both products run the same core. The only real difference is the window your agents live in — and the command tool (caps) finds whichever one is running by itself.
capsdeck
"tmux for AI agents."
A split-screen terminal that runs many AI agents side by side in one window — like tmux, built for agents. Each pane is a real terminal session, and a local API lets your scripts talk to any agent. Works inside whatever terminal you already use.
For: devs and builders who wire their own agents.
Folder: capsdeck.exe + spacebar/ + run.cmd
CapsOS cockpit
"a ready AI dev team in one folder."
Everything capsdeck has, plus a beautiful ready-made command center: a bundled glass-effect terminal window with your whole agent team already laid out when it opens.
For: founders and agencies who want the result, not to assemble it.
Folder: spacebar/ + tools/wezterm-nightly/ + run.cmd

capsdeck — the multiplexer
Real panes, real sessions
Every pane is a live terminal. Click to focus, drag borders to resize, name a pane after an agent and it launches that agent. Select-to-copy, clean multi-line paste, and switchable workspaces when one screen of agents isn't enough.
Talk to agents from code
A local API (the control socket) lets any script or program message an agent, read its screen, or list who's running — three commands: send, read, list. Speaks JSON or plain text, from any language.
Checks itself
Run capsdeck doctorand it verifies its own setup — folders, engine, connections — and tells you plainly what's missing.
mode 2 · full glass
CapsOS cockpit — glass command center
The glass cockpit
Open one window and your whole team is there — translucent panes over a tinted backdrop, laid out and connected. The terminal is bundled in the folder; there is nothing to install or configure first.
A ready crew
On first run, a setup wizard offers a starting team of 8 agents — a leader, builders, a reviewer — or lets you bring your own. Each agent gets its own home folder and job description, and reports progress up to you automatically.
run.cmd · zero to crew
Quickstart
One folder, one command. Everything lives inside the folder you unzip — move it, copy it to another machine, run it from a USB stick; it just works.
